Rule 53 - Payment of legal aid

1. The Deputy-Registrar shall be responsible for execution of the payment of legal aid granted by the Court of First Instance. (Ref.: R. 375-379 RoP)

2. Where the Court of First Instance has ordered another party to pay the costs of the applicant for legal aid, the Deputy-Registrar shall be responsible for recovering any sums advanced by way of legal aid. (Ref.: R. 382 RoP)
