Article 116

1. The Staff Regulations of officials of the Union, hereinafter referred to as "the Staff Regulations", the Conditions of Employment of other servants of the Union, and the rules adopted by agreement between the Institutions of the Union for giving effect to those Staff Regulations and Conditions of Employment shall apply to the staff of the Office, without prejudice to the application of Article 136 to the members of the Boards of Appeal.

2. Without prejudice to paragraph 1, the Office may make use of seconded national experts or other staff not employed by the Office. The Management Board shall adopt a decision laying down rules on the secondment to the Office of national experts.
