Press release: "International law firm Simmons & Simmons has added Paula Gallego, Diptanil Debbarma and Atze van Stralen to its European Intellectual Property team with effect from 1 October. With the arrival of these three patent law specialists to complement the existing team of lawyers and attorneys, the international Intellectual Property team will also be able to conduct a full-fledged practice from the Netherlands, covering all fields of technology from hi-tech to mechanics and life sciences. In doing so, the agents will also be part of the team handling litigation, both in national courts and in the new Unified Patent Court (UPC) .
Paula will become ultimately responsible for all know-how, processes, registrations and formalities of the Amsterdam prosecution team. Diptanil specialises in telecommunications, signal processing, and network technology and, together with Sebastien Versaevel, will mainly focus on clients within the TMT sector. Atze has a background in biotech and will mainly focus on clients in the life sciences sector within the practice of Johan Renes and Xingye Huang. "
