IPPT.eu hereby informs users that access to certain website functionalities will be subject to a subscription-based access model starting February 1st. After many years of providing free services to law firms, patent attorneys, and institutions, the platform is taking the next step in enhancing its legal research offering.

IP-PorTal introduces an online subscription model (“IP-PorTal+”) for access to the IPPT-pdf copies of judgements available at IP-PorTal. This includes (almost) all

  1. judgements of the EU Court of Justice (CJEU) on IP Law,
  2. decisions by the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office ("EPO") and
  3. more than 1.000 judgements by the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal of the Unified Patent Court ("UPC") (operational since PC cases).

The IPPT-pdf copies of judgements contain a summary of the relevant findings of the decision, enriched with hyperlinks to referenced case law and – for UPC judgements – hyperlinks to the relevant Articles of the UPC Agreement, the Rules of Procedure and other provisions such as the Brussels Regulation, the European Patent Convention ("EPC"), the EU Enforcement Directive and more.

Registration is now open via the IPPT.eu subscriptions website.
