Eliëtte Vaal has been working as a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology practice group since graduating from the University of Amsterdam in 2009.

Eliëtte focuses on Intellectual Property Law and ICT, Media and Privacy Law. Her work includes handling infringement cases and cases concerning misleading advertising, and drawing up various ICT and licence agreements. In addition, she advises national and international clients on a broad range of issues, such as the protection of personal data in relation to cookies, cloud computing and the formulation and implementation of privacy policies, and the transfer of intellectual property rights. Eliëtte also engages in judicial proceedings and domain name arbitration.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, she regularly writes articles for Waar en Wet, a journal that focuses on food and product law, Nieuwsbrief Balans, a publication that focuses on various aspects of legislation and regulations, and online forums. Eliëtte also gives presentations and guest lectures on various intellectual property law topics.
