About
The Intellectual Property & Technology practice group is very active internationally, with strong links to the International Trademark Association (INTA) and Marques. These organisations represent the interests of trade mark owners worldwide. In these organisations, AKD has a prominent role in combating counterfeiting and parallel imports and in enforcing trade marks.
In order to improve our services, we have pooled our expertise in a number of areas into specialised, multidisciplinary "sectoral groups". Intellectual Property & Technology specialists form part of the Retail (with a major focus on Fashion) and Life Sciences & Agro Food sectoral group. This means you will always be assisted by a specialist with expertise (and experience) in your sector.
