Separation of proceedings in two separate proceedings ordered (Rule 303 RoP). Separation between the defendants already represented by lawyers and the defendants regarding which foreign service is to be effected in accordance with the Hague Service Convention that is expected to take some time.
Due to the foreign service now to be effected in accordance with the Hague Service Convention, it is to be expected that the service process will take some time and therefore no further progress can be made for the time being with regard to the defendants 1, 2, 7 and 8, because in the absence of a legal relationship established by effective service of process, no court orders with effect against these defendants are possible to date. In order to continue the proceedings swiftly against the other defendants, who are already represented by lawyers, it was therefore necessary to separate the proceedings.
