About
Jelle specializes in complex patent cases as well as commercial litigation and arbitration with a focus on technology. He is qualified both as a lawyer (LL.M., Leiden University) and as an aerospace engineer (BSc, Delft University of Technology). Jelle has acted on patent cases spanning a wide range of technologies, from UMTS to genetically modified organisms for the production of lysine; and from controlled-source electromagnetic surveying to monoclonal antibodies for cancer diagnoses. Jelle has particular expertise in court cases for the setting aside of arbitral awards and has arbitrated under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI).
